This is incredibly ingenious, and true to the design of classical lighthouses, and is such an incredible piece of LEGO engineering that will surely add so much to the enjoyment and accuracy of the set. Looking at the photos provided, and this was a very pleasant surprise for me, I discovered that there’s a Fresnel Lens element which helps create and focus a more powerful beam of light from the included LED cable. Of course, the highlight of the set is the Lighthouse Lantern Room situated at the very top of the tower.Īs you can see from the photos provided, the illumination of the Lantern Room seems quite intense, not something that’s easily achievable with the existing LEGO LED Light. The walls of the Lighthouse also can be easily removed to reveal the interiors. Included in the set to motorise the Lighthouse are battery box, motor and aforementioned LED light with the cable Here’s a look at the cosy interiors, where a stove is illuminated by a Powered Up LED Light. I really dig the Lighthouse Keeper’s design, as well as his female companion who have very Lighthouse/nautical appropriate attire.
